Warner Brothers has just released eight new posters for ‘The Owls of Ga’Hoole’, each showing one of the main characters. Among those posters is one showing Rachael’s character Gylfie. I am not really a fan of animated movies but I have to say she looks incredibly cute there. Gylfie is the groups navigator- she therefore plays an important role in their quest to find the legendary guardians. Along with the new poster I have also added some new stills from Rachael’s older movies. All the new uploads can be found here:
I have added screen captures from eight more episodes of ‘headLand’. It is great to see Rachael act in this Australian TV show. So I would strongly recommend checking it out, if you have the chance. As I already hinted at before, I will continue adding more and more screen captures until we have all of the episodes in our gallery:

Back in 2005/2006 Rachael starred in the Australian television soap ‘headLand’. Despite the shows short run from November to January, Rachael was nominated for a Logie Award in the category Most Popular New Female Talent. Here’s a brief description of the show:
Set in the town of South Heads on the Southern Eastern coastline of Australia, the Headlands Hotel and South Coast University are the centre of the show as we enter the world of South Heads along with newly appointed student counsellor, Adam Wilde. Through him and fellow counsellor Grace we venture with them into the minds of the students as they deal with the pressures of study, the frustrations of everyday life, and the heartbreak of shattered loves.
Screen caps of episodes 1 and 54 have already been added to the gallery. And I will be working on trying to get all 60 episodes up.

I have put up a new gallery layout. I think it fits the current weather and the arrival of Summer much more. I hope you like it as much as I do. Also in the works is a new layout for the main site- that might take a little longer, though. For now you can enjoy our lovely fresh gallery layout:
A poster for Rachael’s new movie ‘Summer Coda’ - which is going to hit cinemas in September - has just been released. The poster and a couple of stills from the movie have been added to the gallery. For more information you can check out the movie’s official website or the new facebook page . I will also post a link to the trailer as soon as it’s released. But for now you can head over to our gallery:

I have updated the gallery with quite a few new pictures. First- all the pictures of Rachael’s public appearances, which I had failed to add in the previous months, have been added to the gallery. Two- I found a beautiful new photo shoot. One or two of the images have been seen before but the shoot in its entirety is new to me and most of you probably too.

As promised screen captures of Rachael’s movie “Cedar Boys” have been added to the gallery. The movie is about the Lebanese community in Australia. Rachael plays the part of Amie, who is quite into drugs and turns out to be a stripper rather than a real estate agent. Here’s how she herself describes Amie:
“[She's a] girl on a downward spiral. She’s such a lost creature, but doesn’t have any of the resources to climb her way out of that”.

Rachael is featured in the newest issue of InStyle Australia. And she did a beautiful new photo shoot for the magazine. I was able to add some of the images to the gallery. And here’s a peek at the article:
“As for the high-glamour looks from InStyle’s shoot, Taylor is again self-deprecating “It’s the clothes that do most of the work!” she laughs. She is enthusiastic though. “These clothes are stunning. It’s that old-fashioned idea, when looking like a grown woman was embraced. I feel like I am wearing things that were made and cut for women: strong women - which is very cool.”"

‘Cedar Boys’ managed to win over the audience at the recent Sydney Film Festival and was voted one of the favorites:
“Underlining the encouraging outlook for the latest crop of Australian films, Serhat Caradee’s drama Cedar Boys was voted the most popular at the satellite venues. It centres on three young Lebanese-Australian men caught up in a drugs scam in the western suburbs.” [SOURCE]
Pictures of Rachael at a recent screening of the movie have been added to the gallery here.
The Australian cinema community braved rainy weather for the gala opening night of the Sydney Film Festival .
Miranda Otto, Rachael Taylor, Kate Ritchie, Emma Lung, Leeanna Walsman and Claudia Karvan helped light up the red carpet at Sydney’s State Theatre to see UK director Ken Loach’s comedy Looking For Eric .
