After some very vague initial rumblings last week, we now finally have a solid confirmation that Rachael has scored a new pilot. This one sounds really exciting! Deadline, TV Guide and others are reporting that Rachael has been cast next to Gillian Anderson in a still untitled NBC thriller. Here’s what we know:

“Described as an emotionally charged action thriller set in and around the world of Washington DC, the pilot follows an idealistic Secret Service agent who finds himself at the epicenter of an international crisis on his first day on the job as the President’s son’s protection when the son, along with several of his schoolmates, are kidnapped.”

Rachael will play a young FBI Agent named Susie Dunn, who becomes the Bureau’s point person on the kidnapping. Her niece -who might also be her biological daughter- Amber is one of the kidnapped children. Susie is then forced to reconnect with her estranges super CEO sister – played by Anderson.

Great news: Fox8 is airing the last four episodes of “666 Park Avenue” in Australia. And you know how these things go…everything eventually finds it’s way onto the internet…take that, ABC! Screencaps from the next two episodes have been added to the gallery. Enjoy:

Rachael is featured in two major magazine this month: She has editorials in the December issues of both Marie Claire and Gotham. The one in Marie Claire is focused primarily on her style, and it’s definitely worth a read.

Deadline.Com recently reported that Rachael has been cast in the Australian thriller “Cut Snake”. She will star along fellow Aussies Sullivan Stapleton and Ryan Kwanten.

While the name of Rachael’s character has not yet been revealed, she will reportedly be playing Kwanten’s fiance, who tries to keep her fiance on the straight and narrow, so that he won’t jeopardize their upcoming wedding. Shooting will reportedly begin in mid-2013.

“The narrative follows Stapleton’s character as he gets out of jail and persuades Kwanten, who is about to get married to Taylor and is trying to go straight, to pull off a robbery.”

“The script by Blake Ayshford is inspired by a real-life incident in 1973 when Brisbane’s Whiskey Au Go Go nightclub fire was torched, killing 15 people.”

Unfortunately, it seems like ABC has decided to cancel “666 Park Avenue” after only nine episodes. It is uncertain when the remaining four episodes will be shown, as ABC has already taken the show off its post-holiday schedule. Right now the consensus seems to be that the last episodes will probably during the summer months. However, the show was fast tracked in several countries around the world – Australia, for example. So some lucky fans might find out what happens sooner rather than later.

As for what Rachael will get up to next, we still have the release of “Loft” to look forward to some time next year. And pilot season is not far off, so who knows…

Now that was certainly a big cliffhanger at the end of Sunday’s 666 Park Avenue episode. Unfortunately, we won’t find out what happens until December 2, 2012, because ABC is airing the American Music Awards this Sunday. Until then you can take a look at the screen caps in our gallery:

The gallery has been updated with a bunch of new stills for the next three episodes 666 Park Avenue. Right now most of these are only MQ, but we will be sure to replace them with HQ versions as soon as they become available.

The next new episode “1×07 – Downward Spiral” will air tomorrow, but the week after that there will be no 666 Park Avenue, as ABC will be broadcasting the 40th American Music Awards instead. Until then you can get your 666 Park Avenue fix by checking out the stills and these episode synopses. But beware: spoilers ahead.

11-25-2012. “1×08 – What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?” – Jane disappears without a trace, forcing a despondent Henry to worry for her safety and sanity. When she suddenly pops up in the middle of Times Square dazed and confused and is taken to a hospital for observation, Jane discovers that a horrible fate may be waiting for her there.

12-02-2012. “1×09 – Hypnosis” – Jane is hurled back in time to October 1927 by the mysterious Maris Elder, who hypnotizes her in an effort to find out where she disappeared down the spiral staircase. Her time travel adventures unlock secrets long hidden in Peter Kramer’s apartment, where his wife was murdered, and shows Jane that her family has a dark legacy that’s tangled with The Drake’s history.
